However, we endeavour to provide the appropriate number of lessons per month, according to the intensity of the course. Types of courses On the basis of the students' aims and needs, we offer separate courses of study for those who need to learn the language for practical purposes and for students preparing for specific exams. We also offer courses linking the language to a specific profession, such as hotel management, tourism, banking, engineering, building or commerce. Re-scheduling of private lessons Requests to re-schedule private lessons should be received by the School Office by the end of office hours on the day before the originally scheduled lesson. Two lessons out of each block of ten may be re-scheduled in this way. Mini-group lessons cannot be cancelled or re-scheduled. Dates and office hours The school is open from Monday to Friday, 10 September 2007 to 18 July 2008 inclusive. The school is closed from 22 December 2007 to 7 January 2008 inclusive. Office hours are from 10:20 to 12:00 and from 16:30 to 20:00. The last lesson is from 20:00 to 20:50. Other facilities we offer our students Free use of the language laboratory Free practice and help with exams: Cambridge, Goethe-Institut, DELE (Instituto Cervantes), UIB, Escuela Oficial, ESO, Bachillerato, Selectividad Notes on Spanish Courses Types of courses and intensity Our mini-group courses are mainly for people spending quite a long time on Mallorca and wanting to learn or improve gradually. We seldom run high-intensity courses. We can offer private and semi-private courses with a maximum of 10 lessons per week. Accommodation There is a wide variety of hotels and hostals near the school. Prices start at around 30 Euro per night for a single room with private facilities. Prices are higher around Christmas and in the summer. We do not offer "homestay" accommodation.
